HYPERBOLIC OR ARCHAIC LANGUAGE:
Bear, as in to bear a weight
Erase, as in to erase the past
Shatter, as in to be shattered by something
Fate (see also bad apple rhymes)

BAD APPLE RHYMES:
Strife: Life or wife.
Unfurl: Girl.
Chore: More.
Uncouth: Truth.
